Tips for visiting
Destination Rambouillet !
Would you like to combine a cultural visit with recreational activities? Take advantage of your visit for a walk in the gardens of the castle. Boats, bicycles, rosalies and go-karts are available for rent from April to November.
Only 2 kilometers from the castle, the Sheep Farm also offers many activities around its educational farm.
Do not hesitate to consult the section "Things to do around the monument".
How to eat ?
Picnic area or gourmet break? In town? In the park?

Please note that we do not provide a back-up area in case of bad weather.

Conditions of visit
Visit with peace of mind!
- Group of 30 participants and their companions (2 to 5 adults)
- Reservation required at least 3 months before your visit.
- Free and shaded parking in the park, 5 mn walk from the castle.
- Bus or car access: drop-off at the foot of the castle. Please inform the reception before your visit.
- Toilets available in the castle during the activity.
- Monument closed between 12:00 and 13:30.
- No covered area for picnics in case of bad weather.
- No elevator in the castle. 221 steps.
