Self-guided tour
Discover the Château de Rambouillet at your own pace as you wander freely around the monument. The tour continues with a visit to the Queen's Dairy and the Seashell Cottage. A new feature! Located in one of the entrance pavilions to the Dairy, a freely accessible mediation area gives you the keys to the fabulous history of Rambouillet in the Age of Enlightenment.

1.2km separates the Dairy from the Château. Overall visit time: approximately 2 hours. Last access to the monuments 30 minutes before closing time. Ticket office and shop at the château.
Guided tour
During a 1-hour tour, you will visit the main flats and guest rooms of the Château de Rambouillet, a unique example of a residence that was in turn royal, imperial and presidential.

Tours depart at 10.30 am and 2 pm on weekdays, 10.30 am only at weekends, holidays and public holidays. Price: no extra charge on your ticket. Subject to agent availability (no advance booking. Registration and payment on site).
Discovering the guest rooms
Immerse yourself in the life of the Presidents and their distinguished guests at Rambouillet by pushing open the doors of five guest rooms recently refurbished in their 1940s style.

The lecture tour
Accompanied by a guide, you will discover the secrets of the château's history and go behind the scenes of the private areas reserved for the presidency, tackling themes as rich as they are unusual.

Discover the park in a different way
Did you know? Rambouillet is also a 150-hectare park. From April to November, take a bucolic stroll in a boat, a rosalie, a bicycle or an electric buggy.
