Discover the backstage of the first G6 of the History organized in 1975 in the castle of Rambouillet.
In the dining room of the presidents, a table prepared for you!
Pimprenelle service in porcelain of Sevres, cutlery of the Christofle house, candlesticks, especially in solid silver inherited from President Loubet...
The set is an exact replica of the table set for one of the G6 dinners, an unprecedented event organized by President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing in 1975 in Rambouillet.

That day, eighteen guests took their seats around the table. Among them were the heads of state of the six countries represented: Harold Wilson for the United Kingdom, Gerald Ford for the United States, Helmut Schmidt for the FRG, Aldo Moro for Italy, Takeo Miki for Japan, and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing for France, accompanied by their close advisors.

Rambouillet is then the center of the world and all eyes are turned towards the castle!
It is besides the occasion to put in the honor the French savoir-vivre and the gastronomy.

The only example of a former presidential residence now open to the public, Rambouillet has long kept the organization of official visits a secret.
